Skillcrown and Golding Homes shortlisted for RICS UK Awards 2026

We are delighted to share that Skillcrown and Golding Homes have been shortlisted for the RICS UK Awards 2026, South East region, in the Community Benefit category.
The nomination recognises Ringside Revival: A Community Fightback, a project created to support and transform Maidstone Amateur Boxing Club, an important grassroots club that provides a safe, positive and welcoming space for young people and families in the local community.
The project brought together Skillcrown, Golding Homes, local supporters and supply chain partners to refurbish and improve the club’s facilities. Works included a new competition-grade boxing ring, upgraded flooring, new lighting, air conditioning, roof repairs, internal redecoration, external improvements and new training equipment. A hardship fund was also established to help ensure that cost does not prevent young people from taking part.
Maidstone ABC supports more than 100 regular young members and plays an important role in helping young people build confidence, discipline, fitness and resilience. For many, the club is much more than a place to train - it is a source of guidance, belonging and opportunity.
Being shortlisted is a proud moment for everyone involved and reflects the power of partnership working. Ringside Revival shows how regeneration can go beyond buildings, helping to strengthen local communities and support the people who live in them.
