Building fun from the ground up at Bendict Academy
We are proud to have supported Benedict Academy in Mitcham by building two brand-new mud kitchens for their Nursery and Reception classes. With limited fundraising opportunities due to the cost-of-living crisis, the school often relies on small events such as bake sales to provide essential classroom resources.
Recognising this challenge, we were delighted to step in and give their youngest learners a fun, hands-on way to play, explore and develop key skills through imaginative outdoor learning.
As the video shows, our team enjoyed getting involved in the build—but the real stars of the day were the children, proudly donning their Skillcrown hard hats and high-vis jackets as they embraced their new mud kitchens with creativity, excitement and plenty of muddy smiles.
