Considerate Constructors Scheme (CCS) | Skillcrown

The Considerate Constructors Scheme (CCS) is a national initiative set up the construction industry to improve its image.

All Skillcrown sites are registered with the CCS and are monitored against a Code of Considerate Practice, designed to encourage best practice beyond statutory requirements. As a registered member, we commit to:

Care about appearance
Respect the community
Protect the environment
Secure everyone’s safety
Value your workforce

Assessed by experienced industry professionals, our sites are scored which we can use to review our performance and strive for continuous improvement.

In addition to our sites, the health and development of Skillcrown employees are key and we always aim to ensure health awareness initiatives are put in place. For example, we actively display men’s health awareness posters and anti-smoking posters to discourage smoking on-site, encourage a system of communication regarding Mental Health and regularly provide training courses to help our employees recognise and support any mental health issues.
