Skillcrown welcomes new staff members

We are pleased to welcome two new members of staff to the Skillcrown team – Isabel Warren and Jack Gren.

The first of our new staff members, Isabel, joins us as our Office Administrator following the completion of her Professional Diploma in Business, and will be bringing her leadership and management, business correspondence and office skills to her new position.

“The role appealed to me, not just because of my interest in the construction industry, but also because the culture of the business offers me the opportunity to grow and expand my knowledge in a supportive and encouraging environment.”

“I’m looking forward to assisting in all the different aspects of the business and getting an overall view of how everything works.”

Jack brings a wealth of experience with him to his role as Skillcrown’s latest Project Surveyor. Prior to joining Skillcrown he worked as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor at ENGIE for nearly three years, commercially leading his own schemes around London with contract values between £1M and £2M. Alongside his job he also studied part-time at London South Bank University, graduating last year with a First Class Honours degree in Quantity Surveying.

“By the end of my time at ENGIE I was keen to move away from planned maintenance and explore the new-build side of the industry. The type and scope of Skillcrown’s projects really appealed to me, and the fact they operate as both a main contractor and developer also offered the opportunity to gain both perspectives. I’m really looking forward to seeing projects all the way through, from inception to completion, so I can gain more understanding of the commercial and operational processes involved.”

“I grew up in Bromley and have lived in the borough my whole life, so I’m also really pleased to have the opportunity to work for a local business. I like how they have a more cooperative and personal approach compared to the big corporations.”

Managing Director, Salik Osman, says, “We’re delighted to welcome Isabel and Jack to Skillcrown. The skills and experience they both bring with them make them valuable additions to our team and we’re really pleased to have them on board.”
