Skillcrown secures planning permission for 559 new homes in Crayford

Skillcrown secures planning for new homes in CrayfordWe are pleased to have secured planning permission from the London Borough of Bexley for a new residential development in Crayford. The scheme will see the former Electrobase site redeveloped into 559 new homes across seven buildings with parking and cycle spaces.

The site is in an ideal location, close to Crayford Station, offering regular services to London Charing Cross in under 45 minutes. Crayford Town Centre is just a short walk away, with a variety of shops, restaurants, entertainment, and leisure facilities.

Plans for the development also include improvements to the pedestrian and cycle routes through the site and in the surrounding area, as well as the creation of a new riverside walk alongside the River Cray to provide a new connection from Crayford Town Centre to the Crayford Rough, which sits adjacent to the development site.

“We’re thrilled to have been granted planning permission for an extensive new development on our site in Crayford,” says Skillcrown’s Managing Director, Salik Osman. “These new properties will not only provide more much-needed housing stock in London, they’ll also help to regenerate this area of Crayford by transforming an unused brownfield site into a vibrant new residential area.”

“As we celebrate our 30th year in business, we’re pleased to add another big residential project to our portfolio, further strengthening our position as a trusted developer and contractor.”
