Skillcrown presents award at Peppermint Court Opening for Sutton Housing Society

The official opening of Peppermint Court, Bond Gardens in Surrey was an eventful evening where Skillcrown was proud to present the Pat Shaw Award, along with the Mayor of Sutton, Steve Cook.

The development is a purpose-built housing scheme, providing aged 55 and overs, 23 apartments spanned over three floors, featuring a communal lounge, garden, parking and video door entry system for added security. As contractors, Skillcrown worked with Sutton Housing yet again, to develop the conveniently situated property in a quiet residential area which was completed this summer.

After an official opening conducted by The Worshipful Mayor of Sutton, Steve Cook, the award presentations commenced followed by a guided tour and finished off with a buffet and drinks reception. The Pat Shaw Award is named after the first Chairperson of Sutton Housing Society and is given to residents recognised for consistently going the extra mile in helping their neighbours.

“It was my honour to present the Pat Shaw Award to Valerie Rollason who has gone above-and-beyond in helping her fellow neighbours. Congratulations to Valerie and all the other finalists”, said Managing Director, Salik Osman. “It was great to see the community in full swing and we are delighted to have partnered with Sutton Housing Society”.
