Skillcrown kick off at Crystal Palace Football Club

We recently had the pleasure of joining Datum Group Ltd for a friendly game of football at the renowned Selhurst Park, home to Premier League team, Crystal Palace Football Club. Datum, a subcontractor for Skillcrown, invited us to the game as part of a customer relations exercise.  Although we lost to a close 6-5, the team unleashed their competitive side while enjoying the experience.

Kitted out in new black and blue striped football shirts with our company logo, the Skillcrown team took to the pitch dressed the part, for kick off at 4.45pm. Amongst the Skillcrown team was our MD, Salik Osman, who put up an impressive performance by scoring a hattrick, with one scored direct from a free kick. A further two goals were scored by our Electrician, Ali Ahmed and Junior Site Manager, Louis Dymond.

Following the defeat, but with spirits still at a high, Skillcrown joined the Datum team to refuel at the clubs bar with refreshments and food, well deserved by all.

“We would like to say a big thank you to Datum for inviting us to take part in this football challenge,” stated Salik. “We all had a great time and would certainly be open to another match in the future, where we can hopefully take the title!”

‘’I would like to thank all at Skillcrown for taking part in a competitive but also friendly game played in great spirit. It was thoroughly enjoyed by all at Datum Group Ltd and was a pleasure to meet all the friends and family of Skillcrown in the bar afterwards, which was a great way to finish a great day.” Said Rob Brooke, Director at Datum Group Ltd.
